Composite Video plus Power Balun
The SDS888 is a Video plus Power Balun with a Female BNC + Screw terminal to RJ45. The screw terminal is for the power connection and the RJ45 is for the Cat5 connection.
This balun can be used in pairs to send a composite video signal plus power over single Cat5 UTP cable. Color video signals can be sent in excess of 1,100 feet; black and white signals can be sent in excess of 2,500 feet.
It can also be used with the SDS889 Quad Video Balun and the SDS887 UTP 8 Channel Video Distribution Hub. See application diagram below and specifications at the SDS887 link below.
This balun is also known as JSA888. Please order two, one for each end of the Cat5 UTP.
