8 Channel UTP Video Distribution Hub

The SDS887 is very popular in Broadway theaters and similar theaters since it allows the backstage staff to monitor the live on-stage activity in order to timely cue-up the next activity, such as the lights, props and performance.

Composite Video Distribution
• The SDS887 is an 8 channel UTP Video Distribution Hub that allows the distribution of four (4) composite video input signals per UTP to up to 32 monitors when used with the Video Balun SDS889 and the Quad Video Balun SDS889.
S-Video Distribution
• The SDS887 Hub can also be used to distribute two S-Video signals to 16 monitors; this is ideal for many medical applications that require the distribution of an S-Video signal. Contact us if you need to distribute S-Video.

The Hub features Neutrik EtherCon RJ45 connectors and has one RJ45 input jack and eight RJ45 output jacks. The RJ45 input jack can support four (4) composite video signals and the eight (8) RJ45 output jacks can be used to distribute each video signal from the cameras. Since each of the eight RJ45 jacks can output 4 video signals each you can distribute the signals to up to 32 monitors.

It is supports NTSC, PAL, SECAM and CCTV video signals for distribution up to 1100 feet in color and 2500 feet in black and white.

The SDS888, SDS889 and SDS889F work in conjunction with the hub.
