The Trans Connect Series consist of products that allow you to send DVI or HDMI signals through 3/4" conduit. For sending VGA through conduit see our Quick-Snap In-Wall Cables.
Since the DVI and HDMI connectors are too large to send through conduit you first pull the "runner cables" through conduit and then attach the corresponding cable leads at the end of the cable.
The Trans Connect Series consists of leads that connect to the Trans Connect runner cables. The Trans Connect runner cable has female connectors on both ends and you connect one lead cable at each end. For cable runs greater than 50 ft. use the Digital Amplifier (DA) leads on the receiving end. The Digital Amplifier leads do not require power and can be ran up to 140 ft.
The Trans Connect cables are CL-2, C-L3 and FT-4 rated for in-wall installations.
The Trans Connect cables are similar to the RapidRun Digital cables that are now discontinued; however, they are not compatible with RapidRun cables or leads.
