S-Video + Composite Video to Component Video for Bose LifeStyle 35 and 38
This exclusive adaptor allows you to connect your Bose Lifestyle 28 or Lifestyle 35 to the component video inputs of your HDTV.
Note: This cable will not work with any other system. The Bose Lifestyle 35 and 38 do the conversion internally and only use the s-video and composite video connectors on the Bose to output component video.
The Bose Lifestyle 28 and Lifestyle 35 provides video output for 3-signal (YPbPr / YCbCr) component video by making a special selection that allows the component video output via the composite and s-video connections. There's no "conversion" of S-Video/Composite Video to Component Video taking place - the jacks are used only to pipe the proper signals once the selection is made.
Our exclusive adapter provides a "straight shot" solution from your Bose equipment to the component inputs of your TV. The default video setting on the Bose Lifestyle 28 and Lifestyle 35 is "Normal" for both composite video and S-Video. To change the video output to component video you have to connect this special adapter and select "menu" then "Video Output" then "YPbPr". Before you make any connections, please check the safety warning on your Bose manuals.
Warning: Do not use this adapter with other Bose equipment or other component video selectors.

A little trivia for those of you that work on a production floor: Dr. Bose does not allow music to be piped into the manufacturing floor! Personnally, I like to milk the cows with some classical music, at least, in the background.
