This section is for our HDMI over UTP products.
Uncompressed HDMI signals can be sent over UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cables using different technologies. UTP cables are also known as category cables, such as Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7, and are commonly used to connect computers in an ethernet network. However, UTP cabling can also be used on a point-to-point basis with equipment to extend HDMI without connecting to an ethernet network.
We have products that allow you to send HDMI signal over UTP using one or two category cables. The versions that require two category cables are more economical and do not support high resolutions, but, of course, require you to use two UTP cables, so they are not as practical as those that only require one UTP cable to complete the connection.
See below our products that allow you to send HDMI over UTP with one or two UTP Cat6 or better cables.
