Our SIMPLAY-HD HDMI 4.95 Gigs Cable 10 ft. This cable can be used with the PS3 that supports 1080p.
- Certified HDMI compliant by the HDMI Authorized Test Center. What does this certification mean? It means that a "test center" says that they actually support 1080p. BTW, you do not need 1080p cables if anywhere in your system there's no 1080p support. For instance, in order to get 1080p, everything must be 1080p. This means that the video was recorded at 1080p (very few titles are actually 1080p, plus you will pay Through the nose); the DVD was burned at 1080p (unlikely); your DVD player supports 1080p (the PS3 supports 1080p); your cable is 1080p; and your display is 1080p (you got to pay mega-bucks for 1080p displays). Since this is not likely to happen any time in the near future you are just paying extra for anything that claims to be 1080p. Here's my suggestion, since your eyes are part of the resolution equation...so just make sure your display is not in your face, sit back, relax and enjoy the show, let your dufus neighbor pay extra!
