HDMI and VGA and Stereo Audio HDBaseT over Cat5 Extender Wall Plate Transmitter - White
The HDMI(R) and VGA + Stereo Audio HDBaseT over Cat5 Extender Wall Plate Transmitter is an ideal solution for extending audio/video signals from a Blu-ray(TM) player and a laptop to a projector. This transmitter extends HDMI, VGA and Stereo Audio signals over a single Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 unshielded twisted pair network patch cable up to 230 feet at a 1080p resolution. The rear cable connections for the Cat5 cable and the optional serial cable are set at 90deg, making connections in a wall box easy. The local HDMI output of the front of the wall plate allows an additional HDMI display to be supported via an HDMI cable. Switching between HDMI and VGA inputs is made easy with three options available. Automatic switching displays the last connected device, manual switching via the button on the front of the wall plate, or Serial RS232 switching which accepts serial commands from a control device, like our TruLink A/V Controller (" https://www.svideo.com/product/40348") This solution is compatible with any operating system and is truly plug and play with no drivers or software required. This solution utilizes TruChoice(TM) power providing the flexibility to power at either the transmitter or receiver end. HDBaseT technology supports HDCP and allows the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) signals, i.e. communication of the display_s capabilities, to pass through the extension solution ensuring that the content from the source is sent at the optimal resolution for the display. Built-in power surge protection and high ground loop immunity ensure high performance signal extension. This transmitter is compatible with any of the HDMI HDBaseT receivers offered by svideo.com and works with our DB9 to RJ25 Serial RS232 Cables. Shielded, solid conductor Cat5e/6 network cabling is recommended for applications where the Cat5e/6 cable must be coiled, is run near other high-frequency signaling cables, or in high EMI/RFI environments. For best performance use a Cat6 Solid Shielded Patch Cable ("https://search.svideo.com/?N=0&Ntt=43122%20and%2043123%20and%2043124&p=e") * Download the manual from the Support tab *
