This transmitter has 4 fiber optic ports so that you can distribute the HDMI, Analog Audio, IR and RS-232 control signals over multimode or singlemode fiber.
Uncompressed video at 1920x1200 resolution can be sent up to 6,600 feet over multimode fiber and up to 99,000 ft. with singlemode fiber modules.
Two multimode fiber modules are included with the 4 Port Transmitter. Additional multimode or singlemode fiber modules can be ordered separately.
The 4 fiber optic ports allows you a lot of flexibility to distribute the signals to various receivers and the receivers can be daisy chained to create many different distribution configurations.
This transmitter is also known as "VG-TX4-MM HDMI-ISA" and works with the Voyager series of Receivers.
