The kit, part number 2211078-01, allows you to send HDMI over Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable at 1080p resolution. UTP cables are also known as Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7 cables. If you do not need to send IR or RS232 controls, then consider part 2211079-01.
